The expression "obeying the commandments" is seldom used in Scripture.
God usually says, "obeying Me" or "obeying {or hearkening to} My Voice."
The Army Commander, the School Teacher, and the Head of a Family do
not win obedience through a code of laws, rewards, or threats. Their personal
living awakens love and enthusiasm.
It is the joy of hearing the Father's Voice
that will provide joy and strength of
_True Obedience_
God's Voice gives Power to obey the Word; the
Word without His living Voice brings no profit.
