"Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?" Galatians 3:2-3 As we look at the church as a whole we see so many indications of weakness, failure, sin, and shortcoming, that we are compelled to ask, how can this be? Is there any excuse for the church of Christ to be living in such a low state? Is it actually possible for God's people to always live in the joy and strength of their God?
